On August 29th and 30th, 2024, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions, and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), led a Cambodian delegation to the Australia-ASEAN Business Forum 2024. The Forum celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Australia and the ASEAN member states under the theme “New Direction with New Opportunities,” which paved the way for the potential to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two regions. In his Closing Keynote Address, Dr. SOK highlighted the benefits of investing in ASEAN especially in Cambodia which Australia has a unique opportunity to deepen and boost the economic integration with these flourishing nations.
