On February 26, 2025, H.E. Prof. Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), delivered the opening remark at the JCM Information Seminar. This Seminar is co-organised by TPAB and Asian Gateway Corporation, focused on opportunities for financial support from the Japanese Government for larger renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in Cambodia. The Seminar were attended by H.E. CHEA Vuthy, Secretary-General of the Cambodian Investment Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia and Member of TPAB; H.E. TIN Ponlok, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment and Member of TPAB; H.E. KUN Vee Lee, Technical Advisor to the Economic, Social, and Cultural Council of Cambodia; Neak Oknha HUN Lak, Secretary-General of Cambodian Oknha Association; Oknha LIM Bunsour, Member of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Tomonori KIMURA, Founder & CEO of Asian Gateway Corporation; and the Representative of the Japanese Embassy in Cambodia. Key representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Environment, Electricité du Cambodge, and the Electricity Authority of Cambodia, as well as representatives from the private sector, also participated in the Seminar.
