At the invitation of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), on 27 October 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), intervened in the First Plenary Session on “Exploring commonalities and divergences across due diligence legislation” of the 2nd Meeting of the Due Diligence Policy Platform of the OECD.

The Session featured representatives from 68 jurisdictions, including governments, the private sector, and expert industries, to discuss a global regulatory mapping of due diligence-related legislation, focusing on key areas of convergence and divergence. It explored different regulatory approaches to risk and impact identification and prioritization, as well as methods for responding to these risks and impacts, including the implications for businesses and enforcement authorities.
