On June 13, 2024, at the United Nations Headquarter in Geneva, Switzerland, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) attended on the occasion in celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of the Group of 77 (G77) and China, with the participation from Ministers, Head of Delegations of the G77 and China to issue a Joint Press Statement. In addition, the G77 and China are committed in advocating their efforts to safeguard the collective economic interests of the Global South and promote the sustainable development and fostering international cooperation.
As a result of the meeting, G77 and China will meet again to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the G77 and China, which it will act as a forum for dialogue, cooperation and strategic planning, as well as providing an opportunity for the G77 and China to reflect on common destiny and opportunities for the future.
