On 11 September 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs), Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), and Chairman of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) Study Working Group, held a meeting with Hon. Matt Western, MP, UK Trade Envoy to Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam.
The meeting discussed Cambodia’s commitment to international trade and a free economy, shared lessons from its WTO accession, and explored future cooperation with the UK in key sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, education, manufacturing, security, and sports.
