On 29 September 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs), Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), and Chairman of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) Study Working Group, met with Mr. AKITO Tanaka, Editor-in-Chief of Nikkei Asia.
The discussion highlighted Cambodia’s economic policies, including the Royal Government’s diversification strategy, which has been designed to ensure a smooth and sustainable transition as Cambodia prepares to graduate from Least Developed Country (LDC) status in 2029.
