On 13 November 2025, H.E. HEM Kranh Tony, Secretary of the State of the Office of the Council of Ministers (OCM), Acting Chief Bureau of Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), Vice Chairman of the 1st Sub-committee on Substance and Documentation for the 20th Francophonie 2026, and high representative of H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the 1st Sub-committee on Substance and Documentation for the 20th Francophonie 2026, held a constructive meeting with Ms. Catharine Tatros, Québec Government Representative to Southeast Asia, to discuss Cambodia’s ongoing preparations for the 20th Francophonie Summit 2026 in Siem Reap.
The discussion also covered Cambodia’s progress in justice, reconciliation, and national identity, particularly the legacy of the ECCC, alongside opportunities to strengthen cultural and educational cooperation under francophonie framework with Québec.
