DAVOS, SWITZERLAND — On January 20, 2026, Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), met with The Honourable Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade of Canada, on the margin of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
The meeting focused on deepening cooperation within the framework of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) and discussing the progress of Cambodia’s preparations to host the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026. These discussions aim to highlight Cambodia’s proactive efforts in paving the way for free trade with key trading partners and strengthening its multilateral diplomatic ties on the international stage.
