On 20 January 2026, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs), and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), attended as a speaker in the World Economic Forum multilateral meeting entitled “Industrial Policy: Tariffs Now, What Next?”, held in Davos, Switzerland.
The high-level discussion brought together ministers and senior policymakers to exchange views on current trends in industrial policy, supply chain challenges, and social and environmental considerations. The meeting also examined the use of policy tools such as tariffs, investment measures, subsidies, infrastructure development, and workforce support, particularly in green and digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and other strategic sectors.
