On May 12, 2026, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat, Chief of the Cabinet of the Senior Minister, and Secretary-General of the Economic Society of Cambodia (ESC), led a Cambodian delegation on a study visit to XAG Co., Ltd., a world-leading agricultural robotics company, in Guangzhou.

The visit was accompanied by Dr. He Dongni, Executive Director and Senior Research Fellow of the Guangzhou Institute of the Greater Bay Area (GIG), and Mr. Lao Ngoun Eng, Commercial Attaché at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Guangzhou.

During the visit, he met with Mr. Amro Ni, International Sales Director of XAG, to discuss key challenges and policy priorities in Cambodia’s agricultural sector.
