On May 28, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. Norn Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat and Chief of Cabinet to the Senior Minister, along with officials from the Secretariat, held a working session with representatives of the Ministry of Interior led by H.E. PHANG Pov, Under Secretary of State, and Major General SUON Pheakdey, Deputy Director of the First Border Checkpoint Department of the General Department of Immigration.
The meeting was convened to discuss and define institutional roles and responsibilities under each chapter of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP), aiming to analyze and assess Cambodia’s compliance in preparation for its accession to this trade agreement.
