On August 12, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat, and Chief of Cabinet of the Senior Minister, along with representing officials from the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, held a working session with representatives from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) led by H.E. SOEM Nara, Under Secretary of State of MISTI, accompanied by senior officials from the General Directorate of Small and Medium Enterprises and Handicraft, and the Institute of Standards of Cambodia.
The meeting was convened to discuss and define institutional roles and responsibilities under chapters of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) related to the MISTI, aiming to analyze and assess Cambodia’s compliance in preparation for its accession to this trade agreement.
