On 26 September 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs), Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), and Chairman of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) Study Working Group, led a working meeting with H.E. Ambassador TAJIMA Hiroshi, Deputy Chief Negotiator for the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) at the Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan. The meeting discussed membership criteria, regulatory standard requirements, compliance reviews, and legal procedures for accession to the CP-TPP.
