On 30 September 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs), Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), and Chairman of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) Study Working Group, led the delegation to a field study at the Port of Tokyo, one of Japan’s largest seaports and among the most advanced shipping hubs in the Pacific Ocean basin.
Arranged by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the visit offered valuable insights into port operations and logistics management, which serves as an important reference for the strategic development of Cambodia’s Sihanoukville Port.
