On 19 November 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee and Chairman of the 1st Sub-Committee on Substance and Documentation of the National Committee for Organizing the 20th Francophonie Summit, accompanied H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Chairman of the National Committee for Organizing the 20th Francophonie Summit, in a bilateral meeting with Her Excellency Eleonore Caroit, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in charge of Francophonie, International Partnerships, and French Citizens Abroad in Kigali, Rwanda.
During the talk, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister briefed Her Excellency the Minister Delegate on the preparation for the 20th Francophonie Summit, scheduled to be convened in 2026 in Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia. Her Excellency Minister Delegate expressed her intention to visit Cambodia in the near future to contribute to organizing the 20th Francophonie Summit.
