On January 14, 2025, H.E. Prof. Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), convened a working session with the delegation of the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), led by Mr. Rath Sophoan, CEO of Maybank (Cambodia) Plc., and Chairman of ABC, to discuss on the financing mechanisms to support the expansion of Cambodia’s cashew nut processing industry. The session was attended by H.E. RATH Sovannnorak, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), TPAB Expert Members, and Banks in Cambodia, including Maybank (Cambodia), ABA Bank, Canadia Bank Plc., ACLEDA Bank, Wing Bank, FTB Bank, and other ABC Council Members.
