On April 29, 2025, H.E. Prof. Dr. SOK Siphana and Lok Chumteav KHIEU Mealy officially launched “Destiny and Hope: Flashbacks from the Killing Fields of Cambodia”.
Marking 50 years since Khmer Rouge regime, the Book Launch was a heartfelt celebration of the memory, history, and enduring personal journey of Dr. SOK Siphana. Notable presences at the launching were witnessed including: H.E. KHIEU Kanharith, Member of the Supreme Privy Council of the King; H.E. SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister; H.E. HUN Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service; Senior Ministers, Ministers, Members of Diplomatic Corps, other distinguished guests, friends, and family.
In honour and memory of his late son, all proceeds made from the evening were donated to the Sok Khieu Samithi’s Art Association, supporting the development of Cambodia’s arts and theater sector.
