On June 26, 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), was invited to give a special lecture on “ASEAN Strategic Flexibility in a Multipolar World: Cambodia’s Perspectives”, at the Guangzhou Institute of Greater Bay Area (GIG).
In his Lecture, Dr. SOK spoke about how ASEAN needs to stay flexible and united as the world becomes more multipolar. He highlighted the importance of maintaining neutrality, strengthening regional cooperation, and tackling internal challenges. From Cambodia’s point of view, he called on major powers to truly respect ASEAN’s central role, and emphasized that only through cooperation and multilateralism can the region stay peaceful and prosperous.
