On Sunday, July 27, 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, LCT. Mrs. KHIEU Mealy and fellow philanthropists, delivered an initial humanitarian relief package to Preah Vihear province to support civilians who have evacuated to safety zones due to the escalating Cambodia–Thailand border conflict
The aid programme was supervised by H.E. Mr. NORN Samnangseymony, Chief of the Cabinet, along with the Cabinet and TPAB Secretariat Officials. The aid packages comprised the following essential supplies: (1) two tons of rice, (2) 200 cases of instant noodles, (3) 200 cases of bottled water, (4) 100 spray bottles of mosquito repellent, (5) 120 bottles of herbal oils, (6) 250 boxes of medicines, (7) 15 cases of women’s sanitary products, (8) 5 cases of washing powder, and (9) 200 boxes of vitamin syrup, along with separate budget contribution.
This timely response addresses urgent humanitarian needs and underscores the government’s resolve in safeguarding the wellbeing of affected civilians amidst ongoing border tensions.
