On 20 November 2025, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee and Chairman of the 1st Sub-Committee on Substance and Documentation of the National Committee for Organizing the 20th Francophonie Summit, accompanied H.E. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Chairman of the National Committee for Organizing the 20th Francophonie Summit, at the Handover Ceremony for the Presidency of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie (CMF) in Kigali, Rwanda.
During the Ceremony, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister extended sincere appreciation to the Republic of Rwanda, as a host, Republic of France as the President of the 46th CMF and Her Excellency Louise MUSHIKIWABO, Secretary General of OIF, for their tireless efforts in effective fulfillment of the duties. On the occasion, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister also announced Cambodia’s priorities, being a President of the 47th CMF and a host of 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026 and expressed commitment to successfully organising the two events in Cambodia.
