On November 25, 2025, H.E. KHIEU Mealy, Personal Advisor to Samdech Moha Ratsaphea Thikka Thipadei KHUON Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Vice-Chair of the National Assembly’s Advisory Council, attended the Opening Ceremony of the Women’s Empowerment Day under the theme of “Women’s Role in the Future of Industry and Economy” as part of the 21st Session of the UNIDO General Conference 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On the same day, she also participated in the Side-Event on “Ambition and Impact: Women Shaping the Future of Industry”
The Sessions highlighted the need to remove barriers that limit women in their respective industries and economy. They also encouraged stronger cooperation amongst institutions to support the creation of an International Day of Women in Industry.
