On February 18, 2026, H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs) and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB), presided over and delivered the opening remarks at the workshop on “Navigating Deforestation-Free Value Chains and Emerging Due Diligence Requirements.” The event was co-organized by the European Union Delegation to Cambodia, the International Trade Centre (ITC), TPAB, EuroCham Cambodia, and GIZ.
The workshop featured a detailed presentation by Mr. Mathieu Lamolle, Senior Advisor on Green and Inclusive Value Chains, Trade for Sustainable Development of ITC. The workshop brought together a number of participants, notably featuring H.E. Ung Sam Ath, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF). Other participants included representatives from key line ministries, the European Union, ITC, GIZ, and EuroCham, alongside researchers, technical experts from NGOs, and private sector representatives.
