On August 25, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat, and Chief of Cabinet of the Senior Minister, along with TPAB Secretariat, and representing officials from the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, held a working session with representatives from the General Department of Taxation (GDT) led by LCT. BUN Neary, Deputy Director General of the GDT.
The meeting was convened to discuss and define institutional roles and responsibilities under chapters of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) related to the GDT, aiming to analyze and assess Cambodia’s compliance in preparation for its accession to this trade agreement.
