On 13 May 2026, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the TPAB Secretariat and High Representative of Senior Minister Dr. SOK Siphana, met with Dr. He Dongni, Executive Director and Senior Research Fellow of the Guangzhou Institute of the Greater Bay Area (GIG), and Mr. Xu Wento, Director of the Legal Affairs Department of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), together with their senior colleagues.
Both sides also exchanged views on trade facilitation, RCEP rules of origin, and supply chain connectivity, and Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) while also exploring opportunities for joint research on key trade and development issues, capacity-building initiatives, and policy information sharing.
During the visit, he also toured the GIG Headquarters at the Guangzhou International Trade Centre.
