BIOGRAPHY
H.E. Mr. BAN Kosal
USS of the OCM and Member of Strategic Task Force of the TPAB
In August 2023, for the 7th mandate of the Royal Government of Cambodia, H.E. Mr. Ban Kosal was appointed as Under Secretary of State of the Office of the Council of Ministers. In addition, he also serves as the Deputy Secretary General at the General Secretariat of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy Phase I. Previously, he had served as the Director of the Cost Efficiency Department at the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance from April 2023 to August 2023, following nine years of experience as a national economist.
From 2020 to 2023, he was a Deputy Director of Statistic and Economic Analysis
Department (SEAD) at General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and
Finance.
In term of qualification, H.E. Mr. Ban Kosal received a Master degree of International and Development Economics from Australian National University in Australia in 2018
through Postgraduate Scholarship of the Australian Award Scholarship.
By profession, H.E Mr. Ban Kosal has built up a wide range of experience in the public
sector including statistical management and economic analysis, public project
management and the monitoring and evaluation of national policy and projects.
