On 17 August 2026, H.E. Bundit Sapheacha Prof. Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Special Envoy of the Prime Minister to the United Nations and Other States, led an official mission with the Office of the Special Envoy, to Banteay Meanchey Province.
During the mission, Dr. SOK chaired a special working session with the provincial administration, led by H.E. OUM Reatrey, Governor of Banteay Meanchey Province, alongside representatives from the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, provincial police force, and relevant provincial departments, to receive comprehensive briefings on local developments across key areas within the province.
