On June 5, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat and Chief of Cabinet to the Senior Minister, alongside Secretariat officials, convened two separate working sessions with representatives of key institutions from (1) Ministry of Tourism, led by H.E. NY Phaly, Secretary of State and his team; and (2) National Bank of Cambodia, represented by Mr. DOUNG Sophak, Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Policy and International Cooperation.
Both meetings were convened to discuss and define institutional roles and responsibilities under chapters of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) related to both institutions, aiming to analyze and assess Cambodia’s compliance in preparation for its accession to this trade agreement.
