On August 21, 2026, at the Office of the Council of Ministers, H.E. NORN Samnangseymony, Head of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) Secretariat and Chief of Cabinet of the Senior Minister, along with TPAB Secretariat, and representing officials from the General Department of Policy of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, held a working session with representatives of key institutions from (1) Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), led by Mr. Taing Bunhong, Director of the Department of Policy and Legal Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Digital Government Committee and his team; and (2) Non-Bank Financial Services Authority (FSA), led by Dr. SOM Phay, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the FSA and his team.
The meeting is convened to discuss and define institutional roles and responsibilities under chapters of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CP-TPP) related to both institutions, aiming to analyze and assess Cambodia’s compliance in preparation for its accession to this trade agreement.
