Mr. LIM Chandara
Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) with the rank of Director
Mr. LIM Chandara is a current Member of the Secretariat of Trade Policy Advisory Board chaired by H.E. Prof Bundit Sapheacha Dr SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of special missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs). He was officially appointed by sub-decree No.54.ANKR.TT dated on 20 January, 2025 signed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. He is tasked with assisting the Chief and Deputy Chiefs of the Secretariat, in charge of Policy, Project Coordination, Administration, and other duties as assigned by the Chief of the Secretariat.
In 2022, he successfully completed his Bachelor of Art in International Studies (International Relations) from the former Department of Internation Studies of Institute of Foreign Languages which is now known as Institute for International Studies and Public Policy of Royal University of Phnom Penh.
Since February 2021, he has joined the workforce of a private company called Koober Engineering Co., LTD as an administrator to further enhance and hone his administrative and operational skills. In the meantime, between 2022-2023, he joined as a volunteer at a youth-led and non-profit organization called ALSA Cambodia during the 2nd Mandate as a member of Presidential Departments which he eventually turned as and was able to become one of the Governing Councils of ALSA Cambodia 3rd Mandate between 2023-2024, exercising his role as Secretary-General of the organization. In December 2024, he served as the member of the First Sub-committee on Substance and Documentation for the 12th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP). Furthermore, he also played an important role as Member of the Secretariat of the Global Chinese Economic & Technology Summit 2024 Organizing Committee (GCET). In 2025, he will be serving as a member of the First Sub-committee on Substance and Documentation for National Committee for the Preparation of the 20th Francophonie Summit.
Currently, he is pursuing his master degree in Master of Science in International Affairs at Institute for International Studies and Public Policy, Royal University of Phnom Penh. Throughout his academic records and working experience, he has purposedly honed his skills to further pursue his passions in the field of trades, developing countries’ development especially in Cambodia and the Southeast Asian Region as a whole. While utilizing his enthusiasm, he has his committed vision to make significant contributions to Cambodia’s development as a whole.
