Mr. LY Kim Tech
Member of Cabinet of the Senior Minister, and Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) with the rank of Director
In April 2024, he was appointed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, as a Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB). In November 2023, Mr. Kim Tech joined the Cabinet of Senior Minister SOK Siphana as a Member where his responsibilities span the management of social media, information technology, and various tasks assigned by the Senior Minister and the Chief of the Cabinet. In January 2023, he was appointed as an Ambassador for the ASEAN Youth Advocates Network (AYAN) Cambodia-a youth-led organization comprising 60 talented Cambodian youths from diverse backgrounds who advocate for youth empowerment and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He is also a Young Research Fellow at the Centre for Sustainable Water.
Presently, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (B.ArchE) at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, where he is majoring in the Department of Architectural Engineering within the Faculty of Civil Engineering. As one of the 20 selected participants, he completed the Environmental Curriculum Pilot Testing Program, a collaborative initiative by the Education Development Center and the International Research Institute for Climate and Society at Columbia University. In addition, Mr. Kim Tech has completed two other certified architecture courses from two institutions: Yale University in New Haven, USA, and the IE Business School & IE School of Architecture & Design in Segovia, Spain. His fields of interest are diverse and include social inclusion, humanized architecture, environmental stewardship, urban ecological design, and sustainable design architecture where his work and studies reflect a deep commitment to these areas.
