Ms. CHHOUR Rothanak Soursdey
Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) with the rank of Director
Ms. CHHOUR Rothanak Soursdey is currently a Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board under H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha and Dr. SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of special missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs). In November 2024, she was sub-decreed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, with the rank of Director.
Before assuming her current role, Ms. Rothanak Soursdey served as an Official Tutor at CamEd Business School in 2022. In 2023, she gained practical experience as an Accountant in a private company, where she was exposed to various aspects of accounting operations.
Beyond her professional experience, she has been actively involved in community service. From 2017 until 2021, she was a Youth of the Cambodian Red Cross at Prek Eng High School. Currently, she is a member of the Youth Federation of Cambodia and participates as a Youth of Sangkat Veal Sbov, where she engages in volunteering and supports charitable events organized by the Sangkat to assist the community.
Ms. Rothanak Soursdey is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) student at CamEd Business School. She has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, achieving numerous accolades, including certificates of appreciation, medals, and awards. She secured the No. 1 position in the FMA CAT International Exam during the June 2024 session and ranked among the Top 2 in the Diploma in IFRS for SMEs national exam. Additionally, she has completed studies in Diploma in IFRS for SMEs, Cambodian Tax, and Cambodian Business Law. Her outstanding academic performance earned her a prestigious scholarship from CamEd Business School to support her higher education.
With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, Ms. Rothanak Soursdey is known for her attention to detail and analytical mindset. She is passionate about lifelong learning and is dedicated to mastering her expertise in accounting and finance to contribute to the growth and development of the financial industry and Cambodia as a whole.
