Ms. CHHOUR Rothanak Soursdey
Member of the Secretariat of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB) with the rank of Director
Ms. CHHOUR Rothanak Soursdey is a current Member of the Secretariat of Trade Policy Advisory Board under H.E. Prof Bundit Sapheacha Dr SOK Siphana, Senior Minister in charge of special missions (Multilateral Trade and Economic Affairs). In 20th January 2024, she was sub-decreed by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, with the rank of Director. Before assuming her current role, in 2022, she served as an Official Tutor at CamEd Business School. In 2023, she served as an Accountant in a private company which allowed her to experience most of the accounting work of the company.
Besides working experience, Ms. Rothanak Soursdey was also a Youth of the Cambodian Red Cross of Prek Eng High School from 2017 until 2021. Nowadays, she is a member of the Youth Federation of Cambodia and also a Youth of Sangkat Veal Sbov which engages and volunteers in most of the events and charities conducted by the Sangkat to help people in the community.
Ms. Rothanak Soursdey is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Certified Accounting Technician student at CamEd Business School. During her study journey, she has consistently excelled, achieving a lot of notable accomplishments such as certification of appreciation, medals, and awards. She also achieved No.1 in FMA CAT International Exam during June Exam Session 2024 and ranked Top 2 in Diploma in IFRS for SMEs national exam. Additionally, she has completed her study for Diploma in IFRS for SMEs, Cambodian Tax, and Cambodian Business Law. All of this excellent performance in studying has provided her the opportunity to earn an outstanding student scholarship from CamEd Business School in funding for her higher education. With a solid foundation in accounting and finance, Ms. Rothanak Soursdey possesses a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mind. She is passionate about lifelong learning and is committed to mastering her expertise in the field of accounting and finance, to contribute to the growth and development of the financial industry and the country as a whole.
